Position Announcement

LIBRARIAN-SYSTEMS:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education-MLS degree from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent advanced degree in computer science, computer information systems, or similar advanced degree.
Experience- Microsoft operating systems and applications, including Windows XP and Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED:

Experience in an academic library setting.
Experience working with Innovative Interfaces Millennium library information system.
Unix/Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with digital repositories, link resolvers, and federated search tools.
Working knowledge of database design and administration.
Working knowledge of the OpenURL standard, Z39.50 and XML gateways for database searching.
