| The purpose of the Cataloging Department of The University of
Texas-Pan American Library is to support the goals of the Library and the mission of the University by: |
| * Cataloging, classifying and processing print or non-print materials for the collection in a timely and cost effective manner. |
| * Maintaining the physical integrity of the collection by mending damaged materials, and withdrawing materials beyond repair as necessary. |
